Can liability and compensation regimes adapt to alternative fuels and cargoes?

The world economy is transitioning, with industries across the board seeking to reduce their carbon footprint and embrace more sustainable practices. As part of this, there is a huge effort within the maritime industry to look to decarbonise, using alternative fuels such as biofuel, LNG, LPG, ammonia, methanol and hydrogen.
