EHRC toolkit for musicians to prevent sexual harassment

A toolkit to support orchestra managers and those with HR responsibilities to prevent sexual harassment in the industry has been published by the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) together with the Independent Society of Musicians (ISM). It follows a 2022 survey carried out by the ISM which found that 66 per cent of respondents said they had experienced discrimination while working in the music sector. Over half of those incidents were identified as sexual harassment.
