UK maps out expanded strategy for green finance

On 30 March 2023, the United Kingdom Government published its updated Green Finance Strategy, titled 'Mobilising Green Investment'. The Strategy was one of the measures announced in the Edinburgh Reforms of December 2022 as part of the UK's ambition to be a world leader in sustainable finance. Running to over 130 pages, the Strategy [1] represents a substantial update of the Government's original July 2019 strategy (a mere 80 pages) and follows a call for evidence in May 2022, [2] the outcome of which is summarised in Chapters 2 and 3 of the Strategy.
