GALLAGHER HIRES AON’S PARRY TO DRIVE OFFSHORE WIND GROWTH

Broking group Gallagher has appointed Mike Parry as a partner in its renewable energy team. Parry, who brings 35 years of energy insurance broking experience, will play a key role in expanding Gallagher’s offering for offshore wind risks. He previously spent 23 years at Aon leading the firm’s European energy team and has also held senior energy roles at JLT and Marsh, serving clients in all sectors of the industry, in particular supporting the development of major offshore installations. Parry will work with Gallagher executive partner, Gavin Tidman, and renewables expert, Duncan Gordon, as the firm continues to expand its renewable energy expertise.
