The regulatory approaches of maritime cabotage law

This chapter is the precursor to chapters 9, 10 and 11. It introduces the different approaches of maritime cabotage law that we have identified in previous chapters. Those approaches will receive comprehensive consideration in the chapters that follow. Hence, this chapter will provide an understanding of the driving forces behind the appeal of each of these approaches.
