Introduction
“When you believe you have a claim under a construction contract, thorough and comprehensive records are needed for proving that you are entitled to damages, and the amount of damages you should recover. Too often, contractors are able to show that something went wrong on a project, but because they lack records are unable to identify the exact causes of the problem, or prove that claimed costs are attributable to the problem.”1
