THE FOS APPROACH TO EVIDENCE
REQUIREMENT TO PROVIDE INFORMATION
4.1
The FOS may require a party to provide information and documents within a specified, reasonable period, manner and form.1 Failure to comply without reasonable excuse can result in a court finding a party in contempt.2 However, in practice, such a failure is more likely to result in the FOS finding against the party who does not provide the information, and there are no reported cases which resulted in contempt.
