ARBITRATION PROCEDURE*
INTRODUCTION

As we have discussed in the previous chapter, there are a number of ways in which reinsurance disputes may be resolved, one of which is by arbitration. Unlike litigation, where the procedural rules of court are fixed,1 arbitration is a flexible dispute resolution mechanism which gives significant scope for parties to choose the most appropriate procedure for the resolution of their dispute.
