This issue marks the thirty-fifth anniversary of the publication of the first issue of this Quarterly and unfortunately the occasion of the retirement of Paul Vivian from outstanding service as its Production Editor (and occasional Editor). Coming from Lloyd’s List, Paul has helped navigate the production of the Quarterly from its modest beginnings to its current status as the leading international maritime and commercial law journal.
