Rules for Institutional Arbitration: References to the Court are the LCIA Court and not a court of law. Low level of supervision by the institution itself. | Ad-Hoc Arbitration: The parties to a contract agree to follow the ARIAS rules in a dispute in relation to the contract (r.1.1). ARIAS is not an institution and does not exercise any supervisory jurisdiction over the arbitration. If Advisory or administrative assistance is required application may be made to the Registrar of the LCIA in accordance with r.20. |
